Qualifications:

• Registered with ARRT (CT) or equivalent credential for CT/PET technologist
• Demonstrated proficiency in performing both CT and PET/CT examinations
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols
• Experience with quality control procedures and radiation safety standards
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Current BLS certification

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and PET/CT scanners to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring understanding and comfort
• Accurately position patients and administer contrast agents when necessary
• Monitor patient safety and maintain adherence to infection control measures
• Analyze images for technical quality, coordinating with radiologists as needed
• Document scans, maintain accurate records, and update electronic health information systems
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Follow all regulatory guidelines and facility protocols
