A skilled CT/PET Imaging Technologist is needed to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services on a contract basis. This role requires proficiency in CT and PET scans, with familiarity in Siemens equipment strongly preferred. Work alongside a dedicated team to deliver timely and accurate results in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Schedule:
- Days; 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift (5x8s)
- Call rotation shared with 2 other technologists
Qualifications:
- Current BLS certification required
- ARRT certification required
- Hands-on CT and PET imaging experience
- Previous Siemens imaging systems experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain CT and PET imaging equipment safely and efficiently
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
- Acquire high-quality diagnostic images per physician protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical team members to assess imaging needs
- Participate in the call rotation with fellow technologists as scheduled
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow department procedures for safety and quality standards
