Schedule/Hours:
- 3x12 hour night shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT-R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT)
- BLS certification (or equivalent) required
- At least 1 year of experience in Radiology; some CT experience preferred
- Strong communication skills with capacity to interact professionally with patients, families, and staff
- Commitment to excellent customer service and ability to function effectively in fast-paced environments
- Sound independent judgement and critical thinking skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT exams following department protocols, ensuring quality diagnostic results
- Verify patient orders, gather clinical histories, and assess for contraindications
- Apply safe imaging practices, including radiation protection and sterile technique
- Communicate clearly with patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns to assure comfort and dignity
- Maintain equipment, document procedures accurately, and support quality assurance efforts
- Respond to emergencies and contribute to departmental safety and organization
- Collaborate with physicians and colleagues across modalities
