Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
• Experience operating CT and PET/CT imaging equipment
• Proven skill in preparing and positioning patients for imaging procedures
• Detailed understanding of radiation safety protocols and compliance practices
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide compassionate patient care
• Ability to analyze imaging results and collaborate with radiologists and other care providers
• Previous experience in a hospital or high-volume imaging center is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and PET/CT scans in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
• Ensure accurate patient identification, thorough documentation, and meticulous record-keeping
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed to ensure optimal functionality
• Follow stringent safety procedures to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure
• Assist providers with procedures when required and respond calmly to urgent/emergent situations
• Deliver clear explanations to patients regarding procedures, addressing any questions or concerns
