As an imaging professional, you’ll collaborate with a skilled healthcare team in a facility recognized as a Joint Commission Accredited Primary Stroke Center and offering a wide array of specialized services, from cardiology to orthopedic surgery, OBGYN, nephrology, and more. This contract position offers exposure to leading-edge technology and an engaging, patient-focused atmosphere.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required
- Demonstrated expertise operating CT imaging equipment and performing scans
- Current BLS certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work effectively with diverse patient populations and multidisciplinary teams
- Acute care, hospital, or comparable clinical experience is highly desirable
- Detail-oriented, with a commitment to quality, safety, and confidentiality standards
Schedule:
- Weekly Monday orientations to facilitate an easy start
- Contract assignment (specific duration to be discussed during interview)
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT procedures according to physician orders and established protocols
- Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate and maintain sophisticated CT technology, troubleshooting as necessary
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinicians for accurate, timely interpretation and reporting
- Document imaging procedures and maintain accurate patient records
- Adhere to radiation safety regulations and infection control standards
