Key Qualifications:
- Certification and licensing to practice CT imaging as required by state and national standards
- Proven experience operating CT imaging equipment and conducting high-quality scans
- Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols
- Commitment to patient safety and strict adherence to infection control procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills for clear communication with patients and healthcare team
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize patient care in a fast-paced setting
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic CT scans as ordered, ensuring accuracy and clarity for physician interpretation
- Prepare and position patients according to best practice and individual needs
- Verify patient identification and review exam orders for completeness and appropriateness
- Assist radiologists and other providers with necessary image-guided procedures
- Maintain and document equipment quality checks and report malfunctions promptly
- Uphold compliance with regulatory and hospital policies including radiation safety standards
- Provide compassionate, informative care to support positive patient experiences
