CT Technologist in Fort Lauderdale, FL

Seeking an experienced technologist skilled in Imaging - CT and CT/PET for an immediate start. This is a contract opportunity with a 13-week initial term. The position offers the chance to work with advanced imaging technology, including United 550 equipment and Siemens Sensation 64 slice, in a collaborative clinical environment.

Schedule:

• 5x8 hour shifts, Days: 7:00am – 3:30pm (Monday through Friday)

Key Qualifications:

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ARRT(CT) certification is mandatory
• Strong technical experience with CT and PET/CT imaging procedures
• Prior experience with United 550 and Siemens Sensation 64 slice is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting and adapt to workflow changes

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform a full range of CT and PET/CT imaging procedures according to physician orders
• Operate imaging equipment (United 550 and Siemens Sensation 64 slice) safely and efficiently
• Accurately position patients and ensure quality diagnostic images
• Monitor and respond to patient needs before, during, and after the procedure
• Maintain equipment, inventory, and examination rooms in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Properly document procedures and maintain accurate patient records
