CT Tech in Fort Lauderdale, FL

Step into a vital imaging role managing CT and PET/CT diagnostic procedures in a dynamic healthcare environment. This position is perfect for skilled technologists ready for an immediate start and a challenging opportunity to utilize advanced equipment, including United 550 and Siemens Sensation 64-slice systems. You'll help support critical patient care while collaborating with other dedicated healthcare professionals.

Schedule:

• 5x8 hour shifts, day schedule
• Monday through Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm

Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT(CT) certification required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Demonstrated clinical experience in CT and PET/CT imaging
• Familiarity with United 550 and Siemens Sensation 64-slice equipment is highly preferred
• Collaborative, positive attitude and strong patient care skills
• Able to adapt rapidly to fast-paced clinical workflow

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT scans while following all safety protocols
• Prep and position patients for imaging studies, ensuring comfort and clear communication throughout procedures
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshooting and reporting issues as needed
• Accurately document patient information and imaging results in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare colleagues to deliver comprehensive diagnostic services
• Comply with all regulatory standards and facility policies
