Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans following physician orders and established protocols
- Ensure accurate patient positioning, image acquisition, and technical quality
- Explain imaging procedures to patients, addressing questions to promote comfort and understanding
- Implement radiation safety measures in accordance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers for timely and precise diagnostic results
- Monitor and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly
- Adhere to all organizational, state, and federal guidelines related to imaging practices and documentation
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current ARRT registration in Radiologic Technology (CT certification required)
- Proven experience working with computed tomography in a clinical setting
- Valid state licensure (if applicable)
- Demonstrated knowledge of radiation safety and best practices for patient care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
