CT Technologist | Fredonia, New York

An opportunity is available for an experienced CT/X-ray Technologist skilled in Imaging, including CT and PET, to join a dedicated healthcare team. This contract position requires a qualified technologist ready to start as soon as possible. The role offers a full-time schedule of at least 36 hours per week, with shifts varying between 3p–11p, 1p–9p, 11a–11p, and, when necessary, 9a–9p to meet weekly hour requirements.

Key Qualifications:

• Current NYS Radiologic Technologist license required
• Certification in ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• Valid NY injection license is mandatory
• Proven skill in performing CT, X-ray, and PET imaging procedures
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in a medical imaging environment preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic CT, X-ray, and PET scans in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Ensure imaging quality, patient safety, and proper documentation for each procedure
• Prepare and administer contrast agents as mandated, utilizing your injection license
• Respond to patient concerns or emergencies with professionalism and compassion
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to coordinate patient care and workflow
• Maintain state and facility regulatory standards in all imaging operations
