Qualifications and Experience:

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program
• Current ARRT (CT) certification required
• California Radiologic Technologist license in good standing
• CPR certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Minimum of one year of recent CT imaging experience
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, CT protocols, and patient positioning
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT equipment to produce detailed diagnostic images as ordered by providers
• Carefully review patient medical histories and screen for safety in accordance with department protocols
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and address questions or concerns
• Administer IV contrast agents when necessary and monitor for adverse reactions
• Adhere strictly to all safety, infection control, and privacy standards
• Accurately document procedures, maintain high-quality patient records, and participate in quality assurance activities
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize diagnostic outcomes
