Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position with flexible shifts available.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proficient in CT imaging techniques and procedures.
- Certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
- Registered with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or equivalent national certification.
- Valid state licensure for radiologic technologists as required.
- Minimum of one year experience in a hospital or medical center setting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and ability to communicate with multidisciplinary care teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans according to physician orders, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Properly position patients and operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to provide timely and accurate results.
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, adhering to established protocols and safety regulations.
- Document patient information, imaging procedures, and results accurately in medical records.
- Support emergency and on-call diagnostic needs in a hospital setting.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies.
