An excellent contract opportunity is available for an experienced Imaging Technologist specializing in CT and PET/CT. This 13-week assignment requires a skilled professional ready to deliver high-quality imaging services and patient care. The role offers a structured evening shift for those who thrive during nighttime hours.
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Night shift: 8:00pm – 6:30am (Sunday through Wednesday)
Key Qualifications:
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency in CT and PET/CT imaging modalities
- Strong technical understanding of imaging equipment and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT scans, following established protocols
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
- Accurately document procedures and maintain imaging records in the system
- Monitor and maintain imaging equipment for quality control and optimal performance
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely and accurate imaging results
- Follow all safety guidelines, infection control measures, and accreditation standards
