CT Tech CT Technologist - Gastonia, North Carolina

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled CT Technologist to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic imaging department. This is a contract position ideal for professionals who are passionate about diagnostic imaging and thrive in a collaborative medical environment focused on accuracy and compassion.

Schedule/Hours:

• 8-hour evening shifts, Monday through Friday (1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.)
• 40 hours per week
• No on-call or call back requirements
• Must be available to work 75% of holidays
• No floating to other departments

Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT (CT) certification required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated experience performing CT imaging procedures in a healthcare setting
• Comprehensive knowledge of CT protocols and safety standards
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and quality care

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CT equipment to perform high-quality imaging studies safely and efficiently
• Review exam requests, verify patient identification, and ensure appropriate imaging protocols are followed
• Prepare and position patients for scans, providing instruction and reassurance as needed
• Accurately document exam details, maintain patient records, and uphold compliance standards
• Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes
• Properly maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment as necessary
