Key Qualifications:

• Certification and registration in CT Imaging Technology (ARRT CT or equivalent required)
• Current (or eligible) state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
• Experience performing CT scans in a hospital or clinical setting
• Excellent knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT protocols
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues

Schedule:

• Contract position (duration discussed during interview)
• Flexible hours may be available based on department needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic images as ordered by physicians
• Adhere to established protocols for image acquisition and patient safety, including appropriate use of shielding and reduction of scan times
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, providing clear instructions and reassurance
• Monitor patients during scans, recognizing and responding to any complications
• Collaborate with radiologists and other clinicians to discuss findings and contribute to patient care decisions
• Maintain accurate patient records, equipment logs, and secure handling of confidential health information
