CT Tech CT Technologist - Gastonia, North Carolina

Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging as a CT Technologist in an advanced healthcare environment. This is a contract opportunity suited for skilled professionals ready to collaborate with a dedicated radiology team, supporting a diverse patient population and upholding high standards in patient care.

Schedule/Hours:

• Department operates Cardiac CT imaging on day shift, 7 days/week
• Orientation includes 1 day administrative onboarding plus 2 days–1 week departmental orientation (may include weekdays regardless of scheduled shift)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT
• Valid BLS certification required
• Proficient in starting peripheral IVs
• Experience with venous and arterial phase scanning, multi-phase scanning, stroke imaging (including perfusion), and colorectal studies
• TeraRecon knowledge preferred but not required
• Open to first-time travelers

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging for ED, inpatient units, observation units, and outpatient procedures, including cardiac CT and CT-guided invasive procedures
• Work with anesthesia as needed for specialized cases
• Collaborate closely with radiology nursing and utilize guest services/transport for patient movement
• Employ EMR: Epic, RIS: Epic Radiant, PACS: Philips iSite, and operate Siemens Definition, Force, and Edge+ CT scanners, and Bayer/Medrad Power Injectors
• Adhere to protocols for radiation safety and maintain meticulous image quality standards
