CT Tech CT Technologist - Gastonia, North Carolina

Qualifications & Experience:

• Registered or registry-eligible CT Technologist
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program
• Current ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proven experience performing CT scans in a hospital or clinical environment
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to radiation exposure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, patient-focused setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct a variety of routine and specialized CT procedures, ensuring the production of high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare and position patients for imaging, providing clear instructions and reassurance to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for accurate imaging interpretation and patient care planning
• Maintain imaging equipment, following all safety protocols and troubleshooting minor technical issues as needed
• Accurately document procedures, patient records, and any abnormalities or concerns
• Adhere strictly to HIPAA guidelines and all facility protocols
• Monitor for adverse reactions to contrast materials and respond appropriately
