Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficient operation of CT and PET/CT imaging equipment
- Current certification and registration in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) required
- State licensure for imaging technologists in Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong understanding of radiation safety and imaging protocols
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations and multidisciplinary teams
- Prior experience in an acute care or hospital environment preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic CT and PET/CT scans following physician orders and established protocols
- Accurately position patients and calibrate equipment to ensure high-quality imaging results
- Ensure patient comfort and address concerns throughout procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to provide timely, precise diagnostic imaging
- Maintain detailed patient records and uphold safety standards at all times
