A healthcare facility is seeking a knowledgeable CT/PET Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging services to patients. In this role, you will play a key part in patient diagnosis and care through the operation of state-of-the-art imaging equipment. This is a contract opportunity ideal for professionals experienced in both CT and PET modalities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification in CT and/or PET imaging technology.
  • Demonstrated proficiency operating CT and PET equipment with a strong understanding of imaging protocols.
  • ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (PET) certification preferred.
  • Active and unrestricted relevant radiologic technologist licensure.
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience in CT and PET imaging environments.
  • Ability to maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient communication and collaboration with clinical teams.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT and PET scans according to physician orders and established safety protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and minimizing exposure.
  • Monitor the safety and performance of imaging equipment; report any malfunction or required maintenance.
  • Review images for clarity and adequacy, relaying findings to radiologists for interpretation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for each imaging procedure, supporting efficient workflow.
  • Uphold strict compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards at all times.
  • Participate in continuing education and training as necessary for certification renewal and professional development.
