Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT-CT or equivalent)
- Valid radiologic technologist license as required
- Previous experience performing CT imaging in a clinical or hospital environment
- Proficiency with CT scanners and related imaging technology
- Strong understanding of radiation safety standards
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow imaging protocols
- Effective communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform CT imaging procedures while adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines
- Prepare patients for scans, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns
- Accurately position patients and operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians regarding imaging results and necessary follow-up
- Complete patient records and documentation promptly and accurately
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed
- Uphold infection control and patient privacy standards at all times
