Qualifications & Experience Needed:

• Valid certification as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist.
• Experience operating CT imaging equipment in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in radiology.
• ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to safe, precise scanning.

Schedule:

• Contract position with determined hours; schedule discussed during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring accurate imaging and efficient workflow.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Operate CT scanners and related technology according to established protocols.
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot minor technical issues, and report malfunctions promptly.
• Adhere to all regulatory and institutional guidelines, including those related to patient safety, confidentiality, and infection control.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Participate in continuing education and stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and procedures.
