Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT (CT) certification required
• Proven experience in CT imaging and patient positioning
• Current state licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist
• Proficient in operating CT scan equipment and related medical software
• Knowledgeable in radiation safety protocols and HIPAA regulations
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage workflow efficiently

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to conduct diagnostic examinations as ordered by physicians
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining each step and addressing concerns for optimal comfort
• Ensure accurate imaging by properly positioning patients and calibrating equipment
• Review images for quality, repeating scans when necessary for the best results
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of procedures and patient records
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and ensure coordinated care
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging rooms and equipment, adhering to all safety and infection control standards
