CT Tech CT Technologist - Hamden, Connecticut

Schedule:

• Week 1: Monday through Friday, 12:00pm–8:30pm
• Week 2: Monday–Wednesday, Friday 12:00pm–8:30pm, and weekend shifts 3:00pm–11:30pm
• Every other weekend required
• On-call assistance is preferred

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
• Proven experience as a CT Technologist in a clinical or hospital environment
• Strong knowledge of imaging safety practices and patient care protocols
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt to rotating schedules and provide on-call coverage when needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders
• Prepare and care for patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to ensure timely and precise diagnostics
• Adhere to radiation safety regulations and infection control policies
