CT Tech CT Technologist - Hamden, Connecticut

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time contract assignment
• Various shifts may be available based on facility needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to generate clear, accurate diagnostic images as ordered by physicians
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining steps and ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process
• Assess images for technical quality and collaborate with radiologists for interpretation
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and proper handling of imaging equipment
• Accurately document all performed procedures, patient histories, and required records in the electronic health record system
• Assist with scheduling, coordinating workflow, and supporting colleagues as needed to maintain efficient department operations

Qualifications:

• Valid and current ARRT (CT) certification required
• Prior experience as a CT Technologist in an acute care or imaging center setting strongly preferred
• Proficient in the operation of CT scanners and related equipment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for positive patient interactions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in imaging and documentation
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinical environment

$2,638 - $2,790/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
