Contribute your advanced imaging expertise in a dynamic contract opportunity specializing in computed tomography (CT). This role involves utilizing cutting-edge CT equipment to produce high-quality cross-sectional images that support critical diagnostic decisions. Beyond CT, you will also perform general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract-based assignment (details provided during the application process).

Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred).
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT): R.T.(R) or R.T.(CT) required.
  • Valid Radiologic Technologist license in California required.
  • Advanced Certification in CT preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS accepted).
  • Fluoroscopy license in California preferred.
  • Venipuncture certification preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images of bones, organs, and tissues.
  • Perform additional imaging procedures, including radiography and fluoroscopy.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate imaging care for adolescent through geriatric patients.
  • Generate sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
  • Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems for accurate image transfer and management.
  • Maintain precise patient records and ensure the security of medical images and data in line with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and supply inventory management.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned, supporting the imaging department’s smooth operation.
