Contribute your advanced imaging expertise in a dynamic contract opportunity specializing in computed tomography (CT). This role involves utilizing cutting-edge CT equipment to produce high-quality cross-sectional images that support critical diagnostic decisions. Beyond CT, you will also perform general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed.
Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications and Certifications:
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred).
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT): R.T.(R) or R.T.(CT) required.
- Valid Radiologic Technologist license in California required.
- Advanced Certification in CT preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS accepted).
- Fluoroscopy license in California preferred.
- Venipuncture certification preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images of bones, organs, and tissues.
- Perform additional imaging procedures, including radiography and fluoroscopy.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate imaging care for adolescent through geriatric patients.
- Generate sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
- Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems for accurate image transfer and management.
- Maintain precise patient records and ensure the security of medical images and data in line with HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and supply inventory management.
- Carry out other duties as assigned, supporting the imaging department’s smooth operation.
