CT Tech CT Technologist in Hillsboro, OR

A skilled professional is needed for a contract opportunity performing CT imaging in a dynamic healthcare setting. The role focuses on operating advanced Siemens Flash Dual Source and Perspective CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Schedule:

• 7-week contract
• 3 12-hour shifts per week
• Day schedule: 10:00 am – 10:30 pm

Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT(CT) certification required
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Active Oregon state license in good standing
• Experience with Siemens Flash Dual Source and Perspective CT equipment preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of current CT imaging protocols and best practices
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and the healthcare team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Operate Siemens Flash Dual Source and Perspective machines efficiently and safely
• Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging documentation and safety logs
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring clinicians to assist with diagnostic interpretation
• Uphold infection control, quality assurance, and radiation safety standards at all times
• Educate and support patients throughout preparation, procedure, and post-imaging phases
• Contribute to a positive, coordinated workflow with technologists and departmental staff
