Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CT/X-Ray Technologist for an urgent travel assignment at a Critical Access Hospital in Kansas. This position offers a flexible schedule with the opportunity for extended time off between shifts. The technologist will provide CT and diagnostic X-Ray services for the hospital, Emergency Department, and attached outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and diagnostic X-Ray examinations.
• Provide imaging support for inpatient, outpatient, and Emergency Department patients.
• Ensure accurate patient positioning, image quality, and radiation safety.
• Complete exams according to physician orders and department protocols.
• Document procedures using the facility’s electronic charting systems.
• Collaborate with providers, nurses, and imaging staff.

Equipment & Technology

• X-Ray: Carestream rooms and portable X-Ray
• CT: GE 660
• Charting: Cerner
• PACS: X-Ray PACS system

Requirements

• ARRT(R) certification required
• Pending Kansas state license accepted
• CT and X-Ray experience required
• BLS certification required
• Ability to take call required

Facility Details

• 20-bed Critical Access Hospital
• Attached outpatient clinic (open 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Active Emergency Department
• Small, collaborative imaging team
