Expand your imaging expertise by providing high-quality CT scans in a supportive healthcare environment. As a skilled CT Technologist, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and be instrumental in delivering accurate diagnostic imaging for patient care.
Schedule:
- 8-hour evening shifts
- Monday through Friday, 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- 40 hours per week
Key Qualifications:
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Proven experience as a CT Technologist, demonstrating proficiency with imaging protocols and safety guidelines
- Competence in operating advanced CT scanning equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow physician imaging orders precisely
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Current and valid radiologic technologist licensure as required by state regulations
- BLS certification
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of CT procedures independently with adherence to established protocols and standards
- Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after imaging procedures
- Prepare and position patients for scans, reviewing requisitions and verifying appropriate imaging orders
- Monitor image quality and make necessary adjustments to optimize clarity and diagnostic value
- Accurately document procedures, maintain patient records, and ensure confidentiality at all times
- Maintain and calibrate CT equipment as needed and report any malfunctions promptly
- Adhere to radiation safety and infection control procedures at all times
- Remain flexible to work 75% of designated holidays as part of departmental coverage
- No on-call, call back, or floating requirements
