An opportunity is available for an experienced professional skilled in Imaging, specifically with expertise as a CT Tech. This contract role calls for someone detail-oriented with a passion for providing high-quality patient care alongside a collaborative healthcare team.
Key Qualifications:
- Active certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
- Proficiency in conducting CT scans and operating CT imaging equipment
- Previous experience in imaging, preferably in a hospital or clinical environment
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and patient positioning
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff
- Current BLS certification
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
- Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after imaging procedures
- Accurately set up and operate CT equipment and adjust protocols as needed
- Assess images for quality, clarity, and completeness for diagnostic purposes
- Maintain clear, accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow all facility protocols and infection control guidelines
- Coordinate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare team members for optimal care delivery
