CT Tech in Hyattsville, MD

Exciting opportunities await skilled imaging professionals specializing in CT and CT/PET technology. This contract assignment is designed for those passionate about delivering exemplary diagnostic imaging care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Schedule:

• 13-week assignment
• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
• Nights: 5:00pm – 3:30am (Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday)

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification required
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proven experience in performing CT and PET imaging procedures
• Excellent critical thinking and diagnostic abilities
• Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to high-pressure situations

Responsibilities:

• Operate advanced CT and PET imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic studies
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process
• Accurately follow physicians’ orders for diagnostic procedures and adapt protocols as needed
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records
• Monitor equipment performance, conduct routine quality assurance checks, and report any issues promptly
• Adhere to infection control, HIPAA, and safety standards at all times
