CT Tech CT Technologist in Hyattsville, MD

Exciting opportunity available for an experienced professional skilled in Imaging—specifically CT modalities. This contract assignment runs for 13 weeks and is ideal for those interested in making an impact in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Schedule:

• 4 x 10-hour shifts, variable days/hours:
  • Sunday: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Monday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM
  • Friday: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM

Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification required
• Active ARRT(CT) credential
• Prior experience as a CT Technologist
• Strong technical proficiency in all CT imaging procedures
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and adept at working both independently and collaboratively

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT scans according to physician orders and department protocols
• Prepare and position patients for accurate imaging while ensuring their safety and comfort
• Assess images for clarity, proper technique, and diagnostic quality before submitting to Radiologists
• Maintain patient records and adhere to confidentiality standards
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, staying up-to-date on best practices
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient care
• Monitor equipment status and coordinate with the team for maintenance needs
