Step into a dynamic medical imaging environment serving a large and diverse patient population in a Trauma Level IV, 182-bed teaching facility with advanced accreditations including Chest Pain and Stroke Center designations. This contract opportunity seeks a skilled CT Technologist to provide high-quality patient care across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient areas.
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour day shifts (36 hours/wk)
- Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays, 7:00 am – 7:30 pm
- Holiday and call shifts are required on a rotational basis
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience (first-time travelers welcome)
- Current BLS certification
- ARRT (R) certification and (CT) for CT Techs; dual-modality candidates should have ARRT (R)(CT)
- Strong clinical skills in imaging—modality specifics discussed during interview
- Photo ID to be provided during compliance process
- Willingness to work 75% of facility holidays as needed
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the home unit
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans in a fast-paced, high-volume department (average 325 patients/day across modalities)
- Serve diverse cases spanning ED, inpatient, and outpatient settings
- Collaborate with nursing and transport teams to deliver patient-centered care
- Document procedures using EPIC EMR and operate Siemens/GE equipment
- Adhere strictly to department safety and compliance protocols
- Participate in orientation, departmental training, and periodic schedule cycling
