CT Technologist - Irwin, Pennsylvania

Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment as a skilled CT and CT/PET Technologist. This contract opportunity is ideal for candidates experienced in advanced imaging modalities, ready to contribute their expertise to assist physicians with accurate diagnostic imaging.

Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week contract
• Choice of 4x10-hour shifts or 5x8-hour shifts
• 40 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Active ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
• Valid state license as a Radiologic Technologist in Pennsylvania
• Hands-on experience with both CT and PET/CT imaging equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare staff

Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of CT and PET/CT imaging procedures with an emphasis on patient safety and image quality
• Position patients and operate machines to obtain diagnostic images as ordered by physicians
• Review and verify clinical data and patient identification before exams
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility policies and HIPAA regulations
• Monitor equipment performance, perform routine quality control checks, and troubleshoot issues as needed
