Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Certification by ARRT (CT) or equivalent
  • Solid experience operating CT and PET/CT imaging equipment
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, imaging techniques, and safety protocols
  • Ability to maintain accurate patient records and follow imaging protocols
  • Advance knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction
  • Current BLS certification

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT and PET/CT scans according to physician orders and standardized protocols
  • Prepare and position patients to ensure accurate image capture while maintaining comfort and safety
  • Administer contrast agents as required, monitoring for adverse reactions
  • Operate imaging equipment and troubleshoot minor technical issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including patient histories and procedure details
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members for optimal care delivery
  • Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety standards
  • Participate in ongoing learning and adopt new technologies relevant to imaging
