Qualifications & Experience:

• Registered or registry-eligible as a CT Technologist; certification in PET imaging is highly valued
• Current ARRT (CT) certification required
• Minimum of one year of recent hospital or clinical experience in CT and PET imaging
• Familiarity with current imaging protocols, anatomy, and safety standards
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff
• BLS certification

Core Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for CT and PET scans according to physician orders and established protocols
• Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and equipment safety
• Explain procedures to patients, address concerns, and provide reassurance throughout the imaging process
• Collaborate efficiently with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate imaging and timely reporting
• Adhere to all infection control, HIPAA, and patient confidentiality regulations
• Document imaging results, complete exam records, and update patient files in electronic systems

$2,366 - $2,502/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
