Qualifications:
- Certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT-CT) or eligibility to obtain
- Experience in performing CT exams in a healthcare setting
- Ability to explain complex procedures to patients and support them throughout the imaging process
- Expertise in administering IV contrast and monitoring patients for adverse reactions
- Familiarity with PACS and RIS systems for image management and documentation
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
- Ability to work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and other team members
- Excellent organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Explain CT exam procedures, address patient questions, and help prepare them for exams
- Collect and review clinical and medical history to guide imaging
- Prepare procedure rooms, ensure availability of supplies, set up and operate CT equipment
- Perform and monitor CT scans, manually control equipment, and obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Administer intravenous contrast safely, monitoring patients for reactions and providing immediate care if required
- Support radiologists with advanced procedures, including biopsies; maintain sterile technique and supply readiness
- Complete all required documentation in both the electronic medical record and the radiology information system
- Consistently uphold team standards, maintain open communication, and foster a positive and innovative work environment

$2,106 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
