CT Technologist in Jamaica, NY

Schedule/Hours:

• 8am to 4pm
• 9am to 5pm
• 10am to 6pm If you are available for more than one shift, please specify your preferred availability.

Qualifications:

• Current and active registration/license as a CT or CT/PET Technologist
• Proven experience working with CT and PET imaging equipment and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues
• Ability to manage a fast-paced workload and multi-task as needed

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and PET imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare and position patients safely and comfortably for imaging procedures
• Follow protocols and physician orders for all scans
• Monitor patient wellbeing before, during, and after exams
• Accurately document results and maintain patient records
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers for optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain proper functioning of imaging equipment and adherence to safety standards
