An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Imaging professional with expertise in CT and CT/PET technologies to contribute to high-quality patient care. This full-time contract role is ideal for a dynamic individual eager to start as soon as possible and deliver excellent technical skills within a robust healthcare environment.
Schedule/Hours:
- Full-Time
- 5.5 shifts per week, 8-hour night shifts
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification and current registration in CT technology (ARRT or equivalent)
- Proven experience operating CT and CT/PET equipment in a clinical setting
- Strong understanding of imaging protocols, patient safety, and radiation guidelines
- Ability to troubleshoot technical instrumentation and adapt to varying patient needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams
- Current BLS or CPR certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and CT/PET scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Prepare and position patients safely for procedures, ensuring comfort and protection throughout exams
- Accurately document imaging procedures, patient history, and scan results in electronic health records
- Liaise with radiologists and healthcare professionals to optimize imaging diagnostics
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and equipment sterilization procedures
- Participate in ongoing education and training to remain current with advancements in imaging technology
