- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Qualifications:
- Valid New York State (NYS) Radiologic Technologist License
- ARRT certification
- CT certification (Required: please ensure certifications are listed clearly on your resume)
- Proven hospital experience in an Imaging or CT/PET Tech capacity
- Strong knowledge of CT and PET imaging protocols, patient safety, and radiologic equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary clinical team
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT and PET imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images for medical evaluation
- Position patients safely and comfortably for optimal imaging results
- Adhere to hospital safety procedures and all regulatory guidelines for radiation use
- Collaborate closely with physicians, radiologists, and nursing staff regarding imaging protocols and patient care
- Accurately document procedures, maintain imaging logs, and uphold patient confidentiality
- Monitor equipment performance and arrange for maintenance as needed
- Provide compassionate, high-quality service during every patient interaction, especially in high-pressure hospital settings
