Schedule:

  • Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Qualifications:

  • Valid NYS License
  • Active ARRT certification (Radiologic Technologist)
  • CT Certification
  • Strong background in hospital-based imaging settings
  • Certifications must be clearly indicated on your resume

Desired Expertise:

  • Competence in performing both CT and PET imaging procedures
  • Familiarity with hospital protocols and standards for imaging
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic CT and PET scans according to physician orders and established protocols
  • Ensure accurate patient positioning, data acquisition, and image quality control
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation within the hospital’s electronic systems
  • Follow radiation safety guidelines to protect patients, colleagues, and self
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
  • Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population, promoting comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures
  • Troubleshoot equipment and resolve technical issues as they arise
