Seeking a knowledgeable professional with expertise in Imaging—specifically CT and CT/PET technology—to provide top-quality care and diagnostic services. This part-time contract assignment offers a unique schedule ideal for those seeking flexibility while working in a dynamic hospital environment.

Schedule:

• Monday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
• Saturday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM

Qualifications:

• Current New York State licensure is required
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• CT certification
• Demonstrated hospital experience working with CT and CT/PET imaging
• Strong technical proficiency in imaging protocols and safety standards
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively in a fast-paced setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and CT/PET scans as ordered by healthcare providers
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and answering questions compassionately
• Operate imaging equipment with strict adherence to established protocols
• Ensure quality control and accurate documentation of imaging results
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and proper function, reporting maintenance needs promptly
