Step into a vital healthcare role providing essential imaging services as a CT/PET Technologist. Schedule/Hours:
- Full time
- 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a CT Technologist (ARRT CT) required
- Experience performing both CT and PET imaging procedures
- Familiarity with advanced imaging equipment and radiology protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout every procedure
- Current BLS certification preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT and PET scanners to produce clear, diagnostically relevant images according to physician orders
- Accurately follow protocols for imaging, radiation safety, and patient identification
- Collaborate closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal imaging quality
- Assist patients before, during, and after imaging procedures, explaining steps and reducing anxiety
- Complete all necessary documentation and image archiving for medical records
- Monitor equipment performance and promptly report maintenance needs
