This opportunity is ideal for a skilled CT Technologist with expertise in CT and PET/CT imaging, seeking a professional role in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract position spans 13 weeks and offers the potential for a transition to a permanent role for qualified candidates. The schedule consists of five 8-hour day shifts, with specific days and times to be finalized during the interview process.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ARRT certification in CT
- Active New York State license in Radiologic Technology
- Proficiency and hands-on experience with CT and PET/CT imaging modalities
- Strong attention to detail and patient care orientation
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT imaging studies adhering to clinical protocols
- Operate and maintain CT and PET/CT equipment safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety
- Prepare patients for procedures while providing clear communication and compassionate care
- Participate in the in-person technical interview process, which includes a scan assessment lasting 3 to 4 hours (compensation provided)
