CT Tech CT Technologist | Jamaica, New York

Deliver exceptional patient care and technical expertise in a dynamic imaging department. This 13-week assignment calls for a skilled CT Technologist experienced in CT and PET/CT scans to support diagnostic imaging services. The position offers an immediate opportunity to work with advanced imaging equipment and collaborate with a dedicated medical team.

Schedule:

• 5x8 hour shifts, Days (specific days and times provided during the interview process)

Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT(CT) certification required
• Active NY state license
• BLS certification must be current
• Demonstrated experience operating CT and PET/CT imaging modalities
• High attention to patient safety protocols and accuracy
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT scans in accordance with physician orders and departmental guidelines
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort throughout the scan process
• Accurately document imaging findings and maintain electronic health records
• Perform routine equipment calibration and follow stringent quality assurance standards
• Work closely with radiologists and support staff to deliver timely results
• Adhere to all facility policies and compliance requirements
