CT Tech CT Technologist in Jamaica, NY

Step into a dynamic healthcare environment providing advanced CT imaging services to a diverse patient population. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position for those interested in a long-term role.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Night shift: 11pm – 7am

Key Qualifications:

• Active BLS certification
• Current ARRT(CT) credential
• Valid New York State license for CT imaging
• Demonstrated proficiency with GE equipment
• Prior experience as a CT Technologist
• Strong attention to detail and patient care skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT scans as ordered by physicians
• Accurately follow protocols to ensure diagnostic integrity of images
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring safety and comfort during procedures
• Document findings, maintain accurate records, and adhere to privacy regulations
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and care teams to deliver timely results
• Maintain and troubleshoot GE CT equipment as needed

Additional Information:

• Role requires a second in-person scan interview (3 to 4 hours); compensation provided for the interview time
