CT Technologist in Jamestown, NY

An immediate opportunity is available for a skilled technologist with expertise in Imaging, including CT, X-ray, and CT/PET procedures. This is a full-time contract position, with an urgent start date. The schedule is varied, with shifts commonly including afternoons and evenings—such as 3 pm–11 pm, 1 pm–9 pm, 11 am–11 pm, or occasionally 9 am–9 pm—to ensure a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Preferred candidates will have strong clinical proficiency in both general radiologic and advanced CT imaging, with the flexibility and initiative to support the team’s dynamic needs.

Qualifications:

• Valid NYS Radiologic Technologist license
• Current ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• NY injection license required
• Proven experience in CT and X-ray diagnostics; CT/PET experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work varied shifts (days, mids, and occasional 12-hour or swing shifts)
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to high-quality patient care

Responsibilities:

• Perform and document high-quality CT, X-ray, and CT/PET examinations
• Administer contrast per NYS regulations using injection license
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality control, and regulatory standards
• Communicate effectively with healthcare staff to provide excellent patient service
• Adapt to changing schedules and clinical demands
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs
