Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Imaging Technologist specializing in CT and X-ray procedures. This dynamic role requires a versatile professional experienced in CT, X-ray, and CT/PET technology to deliver exceptional imaging services within a collaborative healthcare setting.
Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time, 36 hours per week minimum
- Shift options: 3p–11p, 1p–9p, 11a–11p, with occasional 9a–9p shifts as departmental needs require
Key Qualifications:
- New York State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Certification in ACLS, PALS, and NRP
- NY injection license required
- Proficient in imaging procedures including CT, X-ray, and PET
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT, X-ray, and PET imaging studies as ordered by physicians
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
- Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment according to protocol and safety standards
- Accurately document patient information and imaging results in the electronic record system
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to coordinate patient care
- Adhere to hospital policies and regulatory compliance guidelines
