Seeking an experienced professional to provide imaging services with a focus on CT scans. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and will have you working as a key part of the radiology department, helping deliver quality diagnostic care.
Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts: 7am–7pm
- Weekend days: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (three shifts per week)
Qualifications:
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with CT specialization
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated experience operating CT equipment and performing CT imaging
- Ability to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and physicians
- Strong adherence to safety procedures and departmental protocols
Responsibilities:
- Conduct CT scans following physician orders and established procedures
- Prepare patients for imaging studies and explain procedures for comfort and cooperation
- Monitor patient condition during scans, ensuring safety at all times
- Accurately document and maintain imaging records within electronic medical systems
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff for optimal patient outcomes
- Ensure cleanliness and readiness of equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly
