CT Tech CT Technologist in Kansas City, KS

Seeking an experienced professional to provide imaging services with a focus on CT scans. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and will have you working as a key part of the radiology department, helping deliver quality diagnostic care.

Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts: 7am–7pm
• Weekend days: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (three shifts per week)

Qualifications:

• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with CT specialization
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated experience operating CT equipment and performing CT imaging
• Ability to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and physicians
• Strong adherence to safety procedures and departmental protocols

Responsibilities:

• Conduct CT scans following physician orders and established procedures
• Prepare patients for imaging studies and explain procedures for comfort and cooperation
• Monitor patient condition during scans, ensuring safety at all times
• Accurately document and maintain imaging records within electronic medical systems
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff for optimal patient outcomes
• Ensure cleanliness and readiness of equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly
