CT Tech CT Technologist - Kansas City, KS

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced CT Technologist with a solid background in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care. The role focuses on advanced CT imaging in a dynamic healthcare environment over a 13-week period.

Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm)
• Saturday, Sunday, Monday (weekend days)

Qualifications:

• Active ARRT(CT) certification required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proven experience performing CT imaging in a healthcare setting
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong attention to detail and excellent patient care skills
• Experience troubleshooting and calibrating CT imaging equipment is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and proper scanning techniques for optimal results
• Prepare and administer contrast media as needed, monitoring patients for adverse reactions
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, reporting malfunctions or maintenance needs
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in compliance with HIPAA and facility standards
• Foster a compassionate, reassuring environment for patients undergoing imaging procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and nursing staff to ensure coordinated patient care
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and radiation protection policies
