Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT CT)
- Current state licensure in Radiologic Technology
- Proficiency with CT imaging equipment and protocols
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical imaging environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of patient safety and quality control standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and accuracy
- Review and evaluate images for technical quality before submitting to the radiologist
- Maintain accurate patient records and document all procedures performed
- Practice and promote all safety protocols, including radiation protection measures
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, explaining procedures and addressing questions
- Participate in equipment maintenance, calibration, and regular quality assurance checks
