Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes, ensuring safety and precision at every step
• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions required for quality imaging
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems to produce clear, diagnostic-quality images
• Confirm patient identification, verify orders, and prepare patients for exams according to protocols
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines, infection control, and sterile techniques to protect patients and staff
• Review images for clarity and completeness, ensuring all required anatomical structures are captured
• Complete studies efficiently within established timeframes without compromising care or quality
• Communicate exam results and pertinent patient information with interdisciplinary care teams
• Accurately record patient data, document procedures, maintain coding integrity, and manage equipment issues
• Administer contrast media per protocol under appropriate supervision, providing patient education regarding safety
• Instruct students and fellow technologists in techniques, equipment operation, and protocols
• Pursue ongoing professional development and education in advanced CT technology and best practices

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT
• Previous experience in a CT imaging role preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and technical skills
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards
