Required Qualifications
- Current certification in Imaging – CT and CT/PET
- Valid ARRT or NMTCB credentials
- State licensure appropriate for CT/PET technologists (or eligibility)
- Minimum 1 year of recent, relevant CT/PET imaging experience
- Proficiency in operating advanced medical imaging equipment
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT and PET scans in accordance with protocol and physician orders
- Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring safety and comfort
- Analyze images for accuracy; collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians for optimal patient care
- Maintain detailed records, following all compliance and quality standards
- Regularly inspect imaging machinery, reporting any maintenance needs
