Step into a vital healthcare imaging role specializing in CT and PET/CT technology, supporting patient care in a dynamic medical environment. This contract position offers a 13-week assignment with a focus on providing quality diagnostic imaging for both routine and complex cases.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
  • Night shift: 8:00pm – 6:30am, Sunday through Wednesday

Qualifications:

  • Current registration with ARRT in Radiologic Technology, with specialization in CT
  • Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Active ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • Proven clinical experience with CT and PET/CT imaging procedures
  • Strong technical proficiency in operating advanced imaging equipment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently during overnight hours

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT scans following established protocols
  • Collaborate with radiologists and referring providers to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety
  • Prepare, position, and monitor patients throughout imaging procedures
  • Utilize advanced imaging technology and troubleshoot technical issues as required
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with privacy regulations
  • Provide compassionate care, addressing patient concerns and explaining procedures as needed
  • Participate in regular equipment maintenance and quality control checks
