Bring your specialized imaging expertise to a dynamic healthcare environment, focusing on CT and PET/CT modalities. This contract assignment spans 13 weeks and offers a unique opportunity to support patient diagnosis and care alongside a professional, collaborative team.
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts: Nights, 5:00pm – 3:30am
- Workdays: Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday
Required Qualifications:
- Active ARRT certification (computed tomography)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid)
- Proficient in CT and PET/CT imaging techniques
- Previous experience operating advanced imaging equipment and handling patient positioning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and clinical staff
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality CT and PET/CT imaging services in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Accurately prepare and position patients for imaging studies, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedure
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshoot minor technical issues, and coordinate necessary repairs or maintenance
- Review images to ensure diagnostic quality and collaborate with radiologists for timely interpretations
- Maintain proper documentation and patient records in compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies
- Practice effective infection control and adhere to all safety regulations within the imaging department
