Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current ARRT (CT) certification required
  • State radiologic technologist licensure
  • Competency in creating and maintaining high-quality CT images
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience operating CT equipment in a clinical setting
  • Thorough knowledge of hospital radiology department protocols and safety practices
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals
  • CPR certification (BLS) preferred

Schedule:

  • Contract position with flexible shift options, including possible day, evening, or overnight rotations, as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide variety of CT examinations with precision and attention to patient comfort
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining steps and answering questions to reduce anxiety
  • Ensure compliance with all radiation safety guidelines and infection control procedures
  • Review and assess image quality, making technical adjustments as necessary
  • Document procedures, update patient records, and communicate findings to physicians
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical team members to optimize patient outcomes
  • Monitor and maintain imaging equipment to uphold operational standards
