You’ll operate CT equipment to produce precise cross-sectional images used in diagnosis and treatment planning. Your expertise will contribute to patient care across a diverse age range, from adolescence through geriatric populations, while upholding top standards for accuracy and confidentiality.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R or ARRT-CT) required
- State-issued Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required (CA)
- Advanced Certification in CT (preferred in CA)
- Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS) certification required
- Fluoroscopy and venipuncture certification preferred in CA
- Competency in PACS and teleradiology systems
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to HIPAA regulations
Schedule:
- Contract opportunity; specific schedule details provided during interview
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT and general radiography equipment, producing high-quality images for radiologist interpretation
- Generate sagittal and coronal reformatted images as required
- Maintain and transfer records using PACS and teleradiology systems
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of patient imaging and data per HIPAA guidelines
- Perform regular equipment maintenance and manage inventory
- Adhere to all organizational policies including annual vaccination requirements
- Support safety and wellbeing standards for patients and co-workers
- Carry out additional duties as assigned
